{"id":1596,"date":"2023-05-24T09:11:56","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T08:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ilpampaleoneresort.it\/val-di-noto\/"},"modified":"2023-11-15T10:31:32","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T09:31:32","slug":"val-di-noto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ilpampaleoneresort.it\/en\/val-di-noto\/","title":{"rendered":"Val di Noto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The late baroque cities of Val di Noto (south-eastern Sicily), which in 2002 became a <strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>, are a real gem that testify to the culmination of Baroque art and architecture, a must for any trip to Sicily!<\/p>\n\n<p>There are eight cities that are part of the site: the historic centres of <strong>Ragusa<\/strong>, <strong>Noto<\/strong> and <strong>Caltagirone<\/strong>, some urban areas of <strong>Catania<\/strong> and <strong>Scicli<\/strong> and some monuments of <strong>Militello Val di Catania<\/strong>, <strong>Modica<\/strong> and <strong>Palazzolo Acreide<\/strong>. Therefore we find gray-dark buildings in Catania for the presence of lava stone and bright honey-colored buildings in Noto as the stone of the area. <\/p>\n\n<p>To reach this fascinating area via car from the Pampaleone Glamping &amp; Resort, you must take the E45 motorway from the Acireale motorway exit and head towards Catania.
